Hi, I'm Chelsea the owner of Mobile Paws.
Mobile Paws is a mobile veterinary nurse service that provides services in the comfort of your own home.
Mobile Paws is a locally owned and operated service which started in late 2021 and services Yass Valley Shire and surrounds.
As a pet owner and qualified veterinary nurse I understand that it can sometimes be a struggle to get to the vet, whether you have a busy lifestyle, cannot drive, or your pets hate going to the vet. This is why I created Mobile Paws, to help you and your pets.

I am a qualified vet nurse with more than 8 years experience. As well as being a dedicated vet nurse I am also an experienced pet owner to 2 Kelpies (Diesel & Emma), a German short-haired pointer (Hans) and 3 horses (Lenny, Lynx & Browny). When I'm not seeing clients I'm working at Yass Valley Veterinary or training and competing at FEI level dressage.

I started vet nursing in 2015 at Brudine Veterinary Hospital and in early 2023 I made the move to Yass Valley Veterinary. My qualifications include Certificate IV in veterinary nursing, Equine First Aid and Advanced Patient Care. I am always studying a new course or undertaking professional development to improve my knowledge and skills.

I have confidence and experience with dealing with many animals including dogs, cats, horses, rabbits, and lizards.

Please note that as a vet nurse I cannot offer the following;
vaccinations except the 2in1 for horses
heartworm injections
euthanasia
prescribe medications
diagnose injury or illness
NAIL CLIPPING
Does your pet not enjoy its nails being cut? Do you hate having to do it yourself?

Mobile Paws offers nail clipping for dogs, cats, rabbits and guinea pigs. I can even show you how to do it.
